MTV’s 'The Hills' star Lauren Conrad, is one celebrity who knows how to mix her laid back Californian style with a touch of glamour for the red carpet, to create a simple and pretty look.
Born Lauren Katherine Conrad, she first came to light after being featured in the MTV reality series 'Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County'. But it was her spin-off show 'The Hills', which followed her personal and professional life as she pursued a career in the fashion industry, that pushed her up the celebrity ladder.
Lauren also landed an internship at Teen Vogue during the first season of 'The Hills' and during that span of her life which was aired on her show, boosted the sales of Teen Vogue tremendously. She also developed a fashion line, 'The Lauren Conrad Collection,' that debuted at the Mercedes Benz LA Fashion Week in 2008. But she decided to take a break from the designing world a year later to concentrate on other matters like, writing. She published her first book, 'L.A. Candy', and the last we heard, it's bound for the big screen soon. This girl can do no wrong!
