Alicia Keys will be designing a jewellery collection inscribed with poetry and prayers. The 'If I Ain't Got You' singer - who has won 12 Grammy awards for her music - decided now is the time to get even more creative and has teamed up with the designer Gisele Theriault to make a collection of necklaces due out next year. She said: 'I fell in love with the individuality of the pieces, but more than that, the words that were written on them really resonated with the songwriter in me. 'I knew at that moment, for the first time, that through a whole other medium I would be able to spread inspiration and that's what got me started.' Alicia's jewellery collection will range in price from $85 to $2,500 and will be inscribed with inspirational messages. Gisele said she couldn't wait to start working with the singer because they'd found a 'beautiful harmony with each other'. Alicia is only one of a whole host of celebrities currently launching their own jewellery collections. The Kardashian sisters have just launched a new accessories range to add to their growing clothing and skincare empire, while Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie recently turned jewellery designers.
